Scarification
So ok lovely readers, I want your opinions.
I'm thinking of getting some scarification done. In particular cutting and packing with ash. Design to be something similar to the following. So what does everyone think about it? I'm guessing this one might be a bit polarising...
With scarification the body creates the scar its an actual part of you as opposed to a tatoo where the ink isnt created by your body and therefore not really a part of you. Barring plastic surgery the scar is there for the duration of your stay here on earth.
I like the design and understand the symbolism of why you would do it that way. I would personally question using scarification, which is as I understand a fairly painful process. Of course I am not into body modification.
Do it.

OMG. That's really gross. Agree with buzzandhum about the design though.
ReplyDeleteThe process sounds very painful and I think on your face would not be a good look.
ReplyDeleteBut I get the symbolism-and it would certainly be a powerful statement as a scar rather than a tattoo.
Where's it going to be? And also, why scarification over a tattoo?
ReplyDeleteGo for it.
